Chelsey A. Christiansen is a family law attorney practicing primarily in southeastern Pennsylvania. She has focused her practice on family law since being admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2017. Chelsey has represented clients in all manner of family law cases – divorce and equitable distribution, child custody and support, negotiation of prenuptial or postnuptial agreements, and adoption. She has helped clients navigate every avenue to resolve their family law matters from mediation through appeals to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Her noteworthy trial and appellate court experience inform the value she sees in alternative dispute resolution solutions.

Prior to joining Center for Family Resolutions, Chelsey worked for a prominent family law firm in Montgomery County. She began her legal career clerking for the Honorable David R. Workman of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. Chelsey earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Drexel University. She is also a proud alumna of Penn State University.

Chelsey has always been passionate about the value of family in society and has long pursued opportunities to support children and family in her community. While at Penn State, she co-founded a THON organization to support children and families facing pediatric cancer diagnoses. During law school she helped reinstitute the Family Law Society and pursued internships and co-ops at organizations focusing on children and family, such as the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office, Juvenile Unit and Community Legal Services, Family Advocacy Unit. She was also an enthusiastic member of the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Upon graduation she was awarded the Eve Biskind Klothen Law Student Pro Bono Distinction Award as well as the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Outstanding Student Award.

Her commitment to her community has continued through her professional career. She has served as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for children through Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section and completed the Leadership Development Program. She has served as Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Law Reporter Committee and Vice Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.

Her passion for supporting children and families is rooted in her love for her own family. A native to Montgomery County, she spends her free time with family and rooting for the home teams.
